about

Akira Kosemura's new single "But You're Mad" written for the last sequence of the French Movie "Mais vous êtes fous" (Losing It) directed by Audrey Diwan, who is known as a writer of "La French" and "HHhH", and starring the stars Pio Marmaï and Céline Sallette. This is Audrey's first directing film and it has already decided the international distribution by Wild Bunch. During writing the script, Audrey was listening to Akira's music and she decided to collaborate with Akira for the last sequence of the film. Akira Kosemura composed a very chaotic song with using a lot of the percussions in the world, and it mingles the madness in the film, colors the last sequence so as to inspire the human pychology in the extreme state. Also, Akira's another song "Resonance" appears on the film as well and this will be released in April 24th which is the same day of the screening in France.

Mais vous êtes fous (Losing It)
Roman’s love for his family is all-consuming. He adores his wife Camille and their two daughters. He is constantly embracing all three, holding them tight as if terrified of losing them at any moment. Roman is afraid – every moment of every day, he is living a lie, hiding a dangerous secret. For years, he’s been trapped in a terrible addiction, and for years, he has covered up all traces of it. Roman hates this lie that has poisoned his life, and will poison the lives of those dearest to him. And then the truth is revealed – will their love be able to survive?

France, 24th April 2019.
